Is YTMP3 free to use?
Yes. Searching, converting, and downloading MP3 files are free, without an account or subscription. Buying us a coffee is optional.
Can I search without a YouTube link?
Yes. YTMP3 searches YouTube directly. Enter keywords in the search field and select Search, then choose a video and select Convert to prepare your MP3. You can also paste a YouTube link directly.
How many search results does YTMP3 show?
YTMP3 shows up to 20 results per search. If you don’t see the video you want, try more specific keywords or paste its YouTube link directly.
Why can’t I find a video in search?
The video may not appear among the first 20 results, or it may be unavailable. Try more specific keywords or paste its YouTube link directly. Private, removed, or restricted videos may still be unavailable for conversion.
Which YouTube links can I convert?
You can paste a standard YouTube video link, a shortened youtu.be link, a Short, or a YouTube Music video link. Use one video link at a time. Some videos may be unavailable or restricted even when the link is valid.
Does YTMP3 download MP3 or MP4 files?
YTMP3 downloads MP3 audio only. The saved file does not include video, subtitles, or slides. MP4 downloads are not currently available.
Can I choose the MP3 audio quality?
There is no audio quality selector. The output quality depends on the original recording and the conversion process. Converting to MP3 cannot improve a poor-quality recording or restore missing audio detail.
Can I use YTMP3 on my phone?
Yes. Open YTMP3 in an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. Search YouTube within the site or paste a video link, then select Convert for the video you want. If the Paste button is unavailable, touch and hold the input field to paste the link manually.
Where is my downloaded MP3 saved?
Check your browser’s downloads list or your device’s Downloads folder. The save location depends on your browser settings. Wait for the download to finish before opening the file.
Why isn’t my video converting?
The video may be private, removed, restricted, or unsupported. A temporary service issue can also interrupt conversion. Check that the video plays on YouTube, then try again. If the problem continues, contact us with the public video link and the exact error message.
What should I do if my download link expires?
Return to the YTMP3 converter and convert the same video again to get a new download link. Links are temporary, but an MP3 you have already downloaded stays on your device.
Can I convert an entire YouTube playlist?
YTMP3 converts one video at a time. To download audio from several videos, select each video from search results or paste its link separately. Select Convert another when you’re ready to start the next video.
Why is the MP3 filename different from the video title?
Extra spaces and characters that cannot be used in filenames may be removed or replaced. You can rename the downloaded MP3 using your device’s file manager.
